In-Situ Atelier: Take Two, Give One

In the light of MONTAGE'S club night within PILAR ASAP The Sexual Feeling/ Healing Edition we are calling all troublemakers and caretakers. Club Dérive and MONTAGE are looking for mischievous minds and tender hearts to join them in designing a night to remember. They're inviting you to an ‘in-situ atelier’ where they challenge the usual clubbing experience and explore new ways of creating connection and community on the dance floor.

In Situ-Atelier with Soumaya Phéline

Together, they'll design and conceptualise caring interventions that will turn the nightclub into a space of generosity, empathy, and playfulness. Together, assisted by Soumaya Phéline, we'll design and conceptualize caring interventions that will turn the nightclub into a space of generosity, empathy, and playfulness. Think of it as a laboratory for love, where the music will serve as the soundtrack for experiments. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and your hearts full. Participate in our research and design based workshop to explore how design interventions can change our caring for ourselves, each other and our environment. The ‘in-situ atelier’ is free, for the diner afterwards we ask for a 5 euro contribution. There are ten spots available so fill in the form with your motivation to apply! You’ll be notified of the result by Friday 3 March.

Club Dérive

Club Dérive is committed to radical and experimental clubresearch. The focus of the design and architectural research is the interaction between the environment and the audience. The research builds on pre-existing situationist theories including Dérive, Détournement and Psychogeography. Club Dérive questions how through shaping the environment and space of the night, they can influence and enhance the experience of the visitor.
