More than a bar
Bar Pilar is Pilar’s living room: a warm and lively place where you can pop in for a coffee or a drink, a sunny apero on the terrace, a concert or a DJ set — or simply to settle down for a while.
At the bar, everyday life and the artistic programme blend seamlessly. On the small stage, you’ll discover live music, performances, talks and other surprises. Next to the bar is Pilar Box, our large concert, film and theatre venue. Above the bar, you’ll find two floors of exhibition space.
The bar is also a place where people and ideas come together. Through accessible artistic interventions, workshops and other participatory activities, we invite visitors not just to be part of the audience, but also to get involved themselves, try something new or meet others. In this way, Bar Pilar is evolving into a community hub where new connections, initiatives and collaborations can flourish.
With its large terrace, cosy seating areas and open atmosphere, Bar Pilar is a place for meeting people, discovery and fun. Everyone is welcome: artists and concert-goers, students and local residents, regulars and passing visitors.
Bar Pilar is fully wheelchair accessible.
