About event
If you're looking for a platform to discover new, upcoming talent pushing back the boundaries of jazz, you’ve come to the right place. Every month, Brussels Jazz Alert puts the spotlight on a different band in various ways. Each month includes an exciting live session of the band in a Brussels’ club.
Brussels Jazz Alert is a project which aims to promote young Belgian jazz talents. The platform focuses on supporting bands and organizing events throughout the year. The project is possible thanks to our partners Vlaamse Overheid, Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie, Sabam for Culture and Playright.

Line up
Oscillating between jazz-fusion, funk and hip-hop, BBUNG is a group of 7 musicians from the four corners of Belgium, whose music is charged with transcendental energy and raw emotion. With their debut album Blood Dance, they take you on an opulent musical journey through their authentic, exalted and sincere universe. BBUNG is a reunion, a tribal gathering of long-time friends, who decide to inject their strengths and desires in a single breath to return to the essence of music, a wild flow of life that can only be expressed.
