About event
LeBlanc invites his 2 favourite rap acts to celebrate alternative electronic rap music. LeBlanc also known as Daan has been studying at VUB for 5 years and this year he is graduating and of course that goes appropriately with a fat party!
His first ever big show was also in Pilar when he just started at VUB as a little gamin. 4 years on, LeBlanc is more chaud than ever to show what has changed in these last 4 years. It's an international Line-up; Yung Internet comes by "train, tram or bus" from Amsterdam and rapper Anthéna comes from Paris.
After the live acts, there will be a solid afterparty with Woebn and PRoc.
Line up
Anthéna, the rapper from Rouen, blends his Malagasy heritage with French influences, inspired by electronic music icons like Daft Punk and Justice. His debut single "Slide" from 2019, accompanied by striking visuals, reflects his unique mix of rap and electro, developed during his youth immersed in Malagasy and African rhythms.
FOR FANS OF
Daft Punk, Justice, The Bloody Beetroots, Benassi Bros, and Breakbot.
Yung Internet is a Dutch hip-hop collective known for their unique blend of rap, electronic beats, and experimental sounds. The group consists of three members: Yelli, DJ Hyperlink, and KC. Formed in Amsterdam, Netherlands, they burst onto the music scene in the early 2010s, quickly gaining attention for their boundary-pushing approach to music.
Like grass among the pavers in the capital city, LeBlanc has come to stay. From the ashes of Belgium's first generation of breakthrough rappers, the Brussels native comes with a new sound. LeBlanc shoots very fast hard barz on pumping electronic beats full of breakbeat, punk and DnB influences. For anyone who needs or wants to unleash furious energy. Safety warning!
Things can get rough.
With his track "BOOS" he adorned a final place in StuBru's "De Nieuwe Lichting" music competition and was tipped by De Morgen as the switch on the future.
LeBlanc released his first EP "Kiezen" in 2023. This was well received with airplay on StuBru and Radio 1.To celebrate, LeBlanc played a headline show in a packed AB Club.
After more than 100(!) shows. LeBlanc has built a solid live reputation.
Coming from a background of Hardtekk, Happy Hardcore and Rap, he brings a distinct style of music with his own productions and remixes.
Expect high BPM’s, happy sounds, lovely melodies & loud kicks.
