Rrita and Rudi are 2 friends united by the love of rattling bassbins and soundsystem culture. Together they present R&R, a new collaboration that can take on different forms and presentations.

We asked them to get together to curate our seasonal opening! They decided to showcase projects by friends that represent all the genres they love and are influenced by: From punk to dub, dubstep and bass-heavy percussion, revolutionary sounds that get people together and make nosehair vibrate!

JO FLM & Toff Youth

Electronic transmissions from two close friends and selectors, moving between bashment, dub and other heavy sounds. Jo FLM is a Kosovar Albanian DJ and curator with a signature proper low end pressure, often together with Toff Youth, Trinidad & Tobago representing MC & all around creative with a reel ruff tuff style. No long talk, straight from Amsterdam!

At Spitbank we provide search engine optimised carols for cack handed revolutionaries. The death rattle of a place we went in our shared hallucinations.
Packed in like cattle, steel toe boots and drums like battle.

Kamoun & Donia (BE)

DJ and producer based in Brussels with an array of eclectic sounds and polyrhythmic structures. The Algerian producer transports us into a bewitching and electrifying surrounding through a melting, sinuous, dub-infused wandering, where crisp groovy percussions, warm bulging sub-bass pulses and vibrant exotic echoes interlace into sultry inebriating and surreal tribal scents.
