Pitou

Step into the enchanting world of Pitou, where classical finesse converges with alternative pop. This Amsterdam-based musician possesses a golden voice and delivers intimate folk pop that avoids excessive sentimentality while still touching your heart. Pitou crafts songs that resonate profoundly. As a child she sang in a professional classical children’s choir, then, at the relatively late age of eighteen Pitou discovered pop, rock, and the guitar. She studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and released two successful EPs that got airplay at the BBC, plus headline shows all over Europe.

In 2023, her highly anticipated debut album, "Big Tear," was released. The album showcases creative alternative pop songs that incorporate vocal layering, loops, poignant melodies, and classical instrumentation, all seamlessly blending in stylish and ingenious ways. It serves as a beautiful testament to Pitou's unwavering commitment to wholeheartedly embrace the unpredictable journey of life.
